What might an audition be like?
Auditions vary depending on what the show is.
For most straight plays, you will need to prepare a monologue. For most of them you can either choose your own or choose from one of the monologues I have provided for you. Some times I will have prepared parts of the script to read (audition sides) or sometimes I will give you a script to read the day of the auditions (cold read). There may be some other activities I ask you do, but nothing with be hard just have some fun with it!
For musicals, you will need to prepare both a piece of music and monologue that we give to you. We usually have about a week of workshop time to help prepare you for your auditions.
